What is NEET?
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is held yearly to help students secure admission to the top medical institutions in India. In 2018, more than 13 lakh candidates gave NEET in 103 cities.

NEET will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from 2019.

All major dental and medical colleges offer students admission on the basis of their NEET scores, excluding AIIMS and JIPMER

There are 63,985 medical seats in private, central and state-funded institutions under NEET

How to apply for NEET 2022
Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2022

Age:
The minimum age limit for all candidates is 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
The maximum age limit for NEET is 25 years for general candidates and 30 years for reserved candidates.

Subjects:
You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, any other elective subject in English.
-
Score in 12th or equivalent examination:
As a general category candidate, you require a minimum aggregate score of 50% in your 10+2 or equivalent examination.
As an OBC, SC or ST candidate, you require a minimum aggregate score of 40%.
As an SC-PH, ST-PH or OBC-PH candidate, you require a minimum aggregate score of 40%.
As a PH, PwD or Gen-PH candidate, you require a minimum aggregate score of 45%.

A number of attempts:
You can attempt the exam as many times as you want till the age of 25.

The NEET application form needs to be filled online

You need to provide details such as email ID, phone number, parent’s details, educational and domicile information
-
You will have to choose a password for your login ID and pay the application fee

Keep the following details ready like date of birth, Aadhaar number, mobile number, email address and security pin.

Choose the language in which you want to appear for your exam.
